In Memory of Rocky Turnbull

She never had trouble asserting herself! From early on she made it clear she knew what she wanted and where she wanted to be. Some species of parrots have life expectancies that equal humans. African greys are one. Rocky could have lived to be 70 or 80.  Yes that's right, 70 or 80 human years. Rocky, who was supposed to outlive me, was in my will, complete with a "how-to" guide and a hefty inheritance. She'd always been such a high-maintenance bird (like mother, like daughter, eh?), that I did worry a lot about her future after me. I had awfully high standards for Rocky.
